The best of Stoop comes from neighbors. A new place opening on Howard, a beloved spot closing, the history hiding on your own block, a small civic thing worth knowing, or a correction we need to make — send it our way and we'll chase it down.
We verify before we print — every name, date, and address in Stoop traces to a public source, and a tip is a lead we check, not something we publish as-is. And we write about the place, not private people: we'll never publish someone's home address, schedule, or anything we couldn't point to a public source for. No tip is too small.
